Fancy a fun ride on a vintage style Vespa along the by-ways of the Tuscan countryside, taking in all the sights and sounds of the nature surrounding you? Well, this is for you, we will teach you how!
No experience required – beginners are welcome! Jump on this thrilling adventure with us: this is your chance to experience CHIANTI from another point of view. With a short ride our minibus will take you into the rolling Chianti countryside where you can enjoy the fresh air and breathtaking views all around you. The first stage of this thrilling activity is an ORIENTATION SESSION led by an English speaking trained professional, ensuring the safe operation of the Vespas before we head out for an enlightening and enjoyable ride. A DRIVING TEST in an enclosed space will be held to understand if everyone has enough confidence and safety on the Vespa to drive on open roads. Then you’re off! The ride, along scenic country roads, takes you amongst vineyards, olive trees and Medieval villages, stopping for photo opportunities during the ride. You will visit a famous winery, producing the world renowned Chianti red wine, visiting its fascinating cellars and learning all the secets of wine production. The Vespa ride will end at a traditional boutique, where you will be offered a typical Tuscan meal backed up by a pleasant tasting of fine local wines as well as an olive oil tasting in the heart of the Chianti. There’s also the chance to buy at competitive prices if you’re interested.         • Please note that if you are not comfortable riding on your own can choose to enjoy the ride with our expert guides
        • If after the test ride we consider that for the safety of the client it is better they do not ride alone the following will occur: they may ride with another participant, the guide or continue the tour on the back-up minivan. No refunds are given in such cases - OUR ONLY CONSIDERATION IS YOUR WELL-BEING!
        • A valid driving license is required (although you do not need a motorcycle license) and you must be at least 18 years of age to drive, at least 13 years to be a passenger
        • A third-party insurance for civil liability is included in the price of the tour. Please note that clients will be given the option to subscribe an additional insurance against vehicle damages
        • The tour departure will never be cancelled due to rain. We will do our best to proceed with the tour, avaiding the rain and thus possibly carrying out the tour with our minivan until and if the rain should stop and street conditions will guarantee a safe ride. If it does not stop raining, the entire tour will be conducted in the safety and comfort of the minivan.

        Guest options on rainy days are the following:

        • Proceed with the tour hoping for clearing weather – PARTIAL RIDE or NO RIDE due to heavy RAIN. Customers can decide to proceed with the tour hoping for clearing weather with the understanding that if scooters are not ridden at all due to rain, or if the Vespa tour is dramatically abbreviated due to rain, customers will NOT be granted any refund or discount. We will do our best to get you on a scooter, weather permitting
        • Rain check (of the same amount clients paid) to be used the following day or at any other time, subject to availability. The rain check is a voucher given to the client. The voucher is transferable and and may be sold or given to others to use at a future date and lasts up to 1 year from date. It has a value that can be possibly used in any other tour provided by our company
