6 hours

Easy

Join us on a discovery tour of the famous lagoon of Venice!
Comfortably seated aboard your private motorboat, you will visit three of the seven islands which are part of the lagoon: Murano, Burano and Torcello. Start your excursion with some free time to explore Murano at your own pace. The island is famous all over the world for the production of blown glass. Wandering around the typical narrow streets, you can look for unique handmade pieces made by glassmasters. Take the chance to visit a factory of blown glass and discover the secrets of its production. Afterwards, head towards Burano, where the production of lace is the main activity and has brought international renown to the small town. The art of production of lace dates back to ancient times and since then, the Venetian seamstresses established a true and unique culture. Another typical feature of Burano are its fishermen houses, painted in the most beautiful colours, shining in the Venetian sun and bringing a feeling of happiness to their visitors. The last stop on your tour will be Torcello, first center of Venetian civilization which preserves, as a testimony to its glorious past, many monuments and churches such as the Church of Santa Fosca and the Byzantine Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta. The latter, containing wonderful golden mosaics, will take your breath away and will be the perfect end of your discovery tour of the Venetian lagoon.
